DevOps is a methodology that combines software development (Dev) and information-technology operations (Ops) to shorten the systems development life cycle while focusing on quality and continuous delivery.

Gartner’s 2019 priority matrix for DevOps predicts that the DevOps toolchain and continuous delivery will have mainstream adoption over the next two to five years, and this adoption would have transformational benefits to organizations. Agile and DevOps are going to play a central role in organizations undergoing digital transformation.

Program Description

The Certificate in DevOps will deepen students’ understanding of how DevOps can provide business and technological benefits to an organization and how to implement best practices that derive maximum value using Agile project management methodology. Students will critically analyze case studies on successful DevOps implementations and be prepared to successfully construct a DevOps automated pipeline using trending tools such as Git, Ansible, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Selenium, Bamboo and Elk Stack.
