The Integrated Year 1 Undergraduate Program is a unique opportunity for students to be directly admitted into their first year of undergraduate studies at York University’s Faculty of Liberal Arts and Professional Studies (LA&PS) while improving their English language skills. This program extends direct admission to students who meet the academic eligibility for admission to a York LA&PS undergraduate program with an IELTS score between 5.5 and 6.0 or its equivalent.
This program is delivered in partnership with The York University English Language Institute and LA&PS. Students will work towards completing 24 credits while enjoying an authentic university learning experience. They will engage with the general York student body, enjoy the vibrant campus culture and take specialized language courses.

TOEFL iBT: ‘R’ Reading, ‘L’ Listening, ‘S’ Speaking, “W’ Writing papers.
The scores represent the minimum required. ‘+’ means that students can enter with higher scores.
Some tests have band scores. The minimum band (or paper) score is indicated.
