In this video, Tracey explains that many emerging technical fields will continue to experience demand for skilled workers during and after the pandemic. These fields include Cyber Security, User Experience (UX) Design and Full Stack Web Development. For graduates that do not have a degree in these professions, the York University School of Continuing Studies’ accelerated Continuing Education programs provides a way to upskill in a short amount of time, develop a work portfolio and gain the skill set to pursue a job in these in-demand fields.

Over the next couple of weeks, students across Canada will be completing their undergraduate studies and preparing for graduation in June. But, what was once an exciting, hopeful time for students ready to embark on their careers, is now a time of uncertainty and anxiety due to the global pandemic and resulting economic devastation.
