Payment Plan Request Form

If you experience extremely extenuating financial circumstances (e.g. unexpectedly lost your job before program start) which means you are facing difficulty paying your tuition in full prior to the start of your program, then submit this application to request to be put on an approved payment plan, with installments to be paid throughout your program. Payment plan applications will only be considered if they are received no later than 6 weeks before your program starts. A payment plan application submitted less than 6 weeks before program start will be denied.

Payment plans are only for students who experience extenuating financial circumstances.

The date on which an event or circumstance occurred is an important component of your payment plan application. For example, if you had already lost your job/tuition funding, prior to enrolling in the program, your application will be denied.

When registering in a program, you make a contractual agreement with York University and the School of Continuing Studies (SCS). SCS requires full payment of tuition prior to the start of your program and therefore you should make every reasonable effort to do so.
