Cyber security refers to the protection of digital environments and assets from internal and external threats and the guarding of intellectual property. The field of cyber security includes industry risk management, engineering, communications, identity protection, assessing and testing, operations and software development.
With the preparation provided by this program, you can invest in your future as a Cyber Security expert by pursuing the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) designation.
For those interested in pursuing the CISSP designation, the (ISC)2 has its own requirements regarding application, admission, accreditation and membership. It is the responsibility of the students to familiarize themselves and comply with the CISSP accreditation requirements from the (ISC)2.

The Cyber Security Short Intensive is a direct registration program. No application process is required; simply enrol in the session of your choice to get started.
Complete both the Fundamentals and Advanced Certificates in two 6-week cohorts (12 weeks total). The Cyber Security program’s intensive format entails asynchronous online coursework in combination with live-online evening sessions.

The Intensive version of the program should be viewed as a full-time commitment and would not be a good fit for those who would be working during the program schedule.
We do not recommend the Intensive version of this program to those who work full time or who would have outside competing commitments that would take time away from the program. We also offer a part-time version of the program that would be a better fit for those with additional commitments.
