For currently enrolled and/or newly graduated Continuing Studies students who want admission to a second Post-Graduate program starting in September 2024 or January 2025. 

No, you only need your student number. We have all your past academic records on the system.

Cancel your appointment on the booking site (reference your booking confirmation email for directions on how to cancel). We will follow up with you after the event by email.  

Yes, you can. Please contact York International Immigration advisors to guide you on how to apply for your study permit extension and/or renew your study permit status, if it has expired. 

If the gap between your programs will be less than 150 calendar days, yes, you may take a gap between semesters. 

We strongly recommend that you clarify your immigration concerns before you come to the event by attending a virtual or in-person drop-in advising session with York International: International Student and Immigration Advising

Yes, the Post-Graduate Certificate in Business Administration program is open to all students who are currently in Canada and have a study permit and completion still qualifies you to apply for a post-graduation work permit.  

Yes, you can apply to more than one program. 

You will need to submit two (2) separate applications.

You can still apply for a second certificate program; however, you will need to consider the new program start date and, you must retake and complete the courses you failed in the first certificate program to receive any applicable course exemption and/or substitution course enrollment within the second certificate program.  

If you receive an offer, it will be within 3 business days following the event.

No, they are not eligible.

No, because you have been/are a student with York University School of Continuing Studies, you will not be required to submit new test results.  

Each program will have a different eligibility requirement. Please visit our website to see what requirements your program of interest requires.  

Please visit our website and select the program you are interested in pursuing. Once you are on the program page you will see the relevant tuition fees listed.  

All program offerings will be located on our website. You can find the program offering under our “Enrol” tab.   

We cannot guarantee employment upon graduation. However, we do have Career Services, which you can find in your Moodle site. Career Services can help with resume preparation, job boards, and networking events etc.  

The School of Continuing Studies accepts payments by credit card, through a Canadian bank, or via Convera GlobalPay. A deposit payment can be made on site via credit card.  

The standard international application submission deadline is posted on our website.  It is typically 2 months before the program start date. However, if you are currently enrolled in a full-time program, and have applied or been approved for a study permit/visa extension, you may apply up to 1 week before the program start date.
