Her experience spans the healthcare and financial services industries where she has leveraged technology, data, and continuous improvement to drive change in alignment with strategic objectives. Farzeen Foda is a Talent Strategies professional with experience in corporate strategy, talent acquisition, and organizational design.

Currently, as a Talent and Organizational Development Program Manager, Opeyemi oversees talent programs for over 18,000 colleagues across North America, designing initiatives that boost performance and engagement.

Opeyemi holds a PROSCI Change Management Certification, an SAP ERP 6.0 certification, a Master’s in HRM, and a Bachelor’s in Industrial & Labor Relations.

Opeyemi Iseyemi is a seasoned global HR professional with over 10 years of experience in talent acquisition, HR transformation, and talent management. For more than 5 years, he has excelled in implementing HR strategies, focusing on talent management, performance management, and employee development.

Dedicated to aligning HR strategies with organizational goals, Opeyemi fosters a positive work environment that motivates employees and enhances productivity. He has successfully led several HR transformation projects, significantly enhancing talent and performance management processes for diverse organizations.

Jason Russell has a PhD in History from York University.

Professional experience
Jason is the author of a book and several academic articles relating to work and labour issues both in historical and contemporary contexts. He regularly presents papers at national and international academic conferences. He has taught courses on labour/industrial relations and other work and employment subjects at five different colleges and universities including York, the University of Western Ontario, and McMaster. His current research interests focus on the development of management as an occupation in Canada from the 1940s to the 1990s.

Steve has graduated from three Ontario Colleges, and is a three-time graduate of McMaster University in Human Resources, Labour Studies, and Occupational Health and Safety complimented with a Masters of Public Administration from Western University.

Professional experience
Steve Fletcher has been an Occupational Health and Safety Professional for the past 27 years. Steve’s career has given him significant experience in the healthcare, education, municipal and industrial sectors of Ontario workplaces. He has been teaching with McMaster in the Human Resources program for the past 15 years and has a passion for helping students thrive and enjoy the learning experience.

Based in Toronto, Su-Yan Gay is currently managing her own HR consulting firm (NAYUS Consulting Group) where she is advising public and private organizations in both Canada and the Caribbean with their HR and talent management needs.

Education
Su-Yan holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of Toronto, a Bachelor of Education degree (specializing in Adult Education) from Brock University, and a graduate degree in Human Resources Management from York University. In addition, she holds the professional designations of Certified Human Resources Leader and Certified Training & Development Professional.

Su-Yan is a Human Resources professional who brings almost 20 years of HR experience to York University. Su-Yan worked as the Manager of Learning & Development for a large crown corporation for over 10 years. Her most recent position took her to Alberta, where she was the Supervisor of Employee Education and a Senior HR Advisor within a municipal government organization.

In January 2014, Rehan became the Founder & CEO of the HR and Project Management Corporation, a global firm specializing in providing recruitment and training services.

He has an Honours BA in Economics from the University of Toronto, an MA in Economics from the University of Western Ontario, and an MASc in Management Science from the University of Waterloo. He also has a Master’s Certificate in Learning & Development from Schulich’s Executive Education Centre and holds both the PMP & CHRL Professional Licenses.

Rehan is an HR and Project Management Professional with over 20 years of experience. He is a part-time faculty member at York University, Humber College, and Lambton College, where he teaches HR and project management.

Bartosz has over 10 years of auditing and accounting experience in the public and private sectors. He is currently an Audit Director at the Office of the Auditor General of Ontario, where he oversees value-for-money audits of various government ministries and agencies. Previously, he served as a Senior Auditor for Ernst & Young.

Education
Bartosz is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CA) and holds a Masters of Laws (LL.M.) degree from Osgoode Hall Law School and a BBA (Accounting) from York University.

Professional experience
Bartosz has over 7 years of experience teaching auditing and accounting for CPA Ontario, University of Toronto and York University, where he has received recognition and awards for his excellence in teaching and creating a positive learning environment for his students. He is also a contributing author to Auditing: The Art and Science of Assurance Engagements 13th edition, 2015, a widely used university textbook in accounting and audit courses.

Jeff’s background in business and human resources management spans more than twenty-five years. In his capacity as an independent consultant, he has worked with some of Canada’s most influential companies, completing client engagements in both the public and private sectors. His international experience includes working with post-secondary partners in Indonesia to assist with the development of applied entrepreneurship curriculum and the establishment of community business support centres.

Jeff works to create a structured, engaging, and learner-centred experience. He encourages reflection, collaboration, and professional growth by providing supportive feedback and practical tools to help learners apply concepts in both academic and workplace settings.
