Certificate in Clinical Research – Information Session with instructors Taymour Bibi and Jasmine Grant

Join us to learn about the York University School of Continuing Studies Certificate in Clinical Research. The session will be facilitated by Continuing Studies Advisor Elspeth Staniland and will feature Instructors and clinical research professionals Taymour Bibi and Jasmine Grant.
Elspeth will begin the session with an overview of the program, including information on the delivery format, instructors, fees and enrolment. Jasmine and Taymour will then speak about their experience working in this dynamic field, and how this part-time program will prepare learners for careers in clinical research through a highly practical curriculum.

Clinical Research Manager, Princess Margaret Cancer Program
Jasmine is a Clinical Research Manager, Lead Research Training Program – Education Specialist across UHN Clinical Research at the Princess Margaret Cancer Program. She is responsible for developing and facilitating training programs based on clinical research staff needs and audit findings. Her projects include the standardization of clinical research documentation, quality assurance initiatives and establishing e-learning clinical research course content for UHN Research and the Princess Margaret Cancer Program. Jasmine also has over 15 years of experience working as a Study Coordinator, monitoring and coordinating multicentre investigator-initiated and sponsored oncology trials at Princess Margaret.

Global Studies Leader at Hoffmann-La Roche
Taymour has over 17 years of working in the clinical research field and is currently a Global Studies Leader at Hoffmann-La Roche, a prominent multinational pharmaceutical company. He is responsible for leading cross-functional study teams on the successful execution and delivery of large global trials and overseeing a team of Global Studies Managers. He has held various roles including Senior Project Manager, Project Manager and Clinical Research Coordinator at AXON Clinical Research and DecisionLine Clinical Research.
