Continuing Professional Education

English Language Institute

English Language Institute accepts applications (resume and cover letter) for employment from experienced and qualified ESL/EAP instructors on an on-going basis.

Instructors who wish to be considered for the English Language Institute’s Academic Program must have:

  • Completed a Master’s Degree in Linguistics, Education, TESOL or related area
  • Three years’ (minimum) Canadian or international ESL/EAP teaching experience
  •  TESL Canada approved TESL certificate

English Language Institute will consider applicants with a CELTA or DELTA, if it has been approved by TESL Canada. Please address applications to elijobs@yorku.ca [8].
