Text is an essential mode of human communication that can be found everywhere, from social networks and forums to financial and medical documents. This Open Class will introduce learners to applications of supervised classification using text (called text classification). We will introduce practical applications from the real-world and walk-through a piece of python code central to the machine learning pipeline.”
