Program Description

Full-time Post-Graduate Certificate

This program will teach you how to make strategic marketing decisions, effectively manage projects, and increase productivity. You will also study current economic, social, and environmental business trends. Designed in consultation with senior industry executives, thought leaders, and prominent York University academics, the Certificate will equip you with relevant and in-demand knowledge and all course content will be immediately applicable to your current (or future) role.

Online Certificate

Our Online Certificate in Business Administration gives you the opportunity to earn a valuable business credential from a respected university without ever setting foot in a traditional classroom. Offered entirely online, the Certificate takes only ten months to complete. Whether you’re looking to build on existing experience or gain entirely new skills, this program will give you the comprehensive business foundation that top employers are looking for. You will learn how to make strategic marketing decisions and manage people and budgets. You will also study current economic, social, and environmental business trends while simultaneously sharpening your critical thinking, communication, and management skills.

Part Time

The online program is by far the most flexible option for completing this program — especially for busy professionals. York University’s flexible, interactive online program helps you develop a rich network of peers while enjoying the convenience of learning at your preferred location. Study at times that fit your schedule as long as you complete the assignments on time.

  • Program Length: 10 months

Full Time

The full-time program can be completed in just eight months, which is considerably quicker than comparable certificates. It is offered in a cohort format, allowing you to study alongside a network of peers who are completing the program on the same schedule.

In Ontario, large gatherings are restricted. As such, this program will be offered in our “live online” format, which offers students the structure and group interaction of a face-to-face experience without travelling to York’s campus. Our live online classrooms enable students to hear and interact with the instructor and other students like in a normal classroom.

For the second half of the program, students can expect to be back on campus for in-class sessions with social distancing and health and safety measures in place.
