Certificate in Blockchain Development (Part-time Intensive)

The intensive 4-course Certificate in Blockchain Development was designed in partnership with industry leaders and is the only technical certificate delivered by a Canadian university.

Post-Graduate Certificate in Back-End and Blockchain Development (Full-time)

Created in collaboration with industry executives, the full-time 9-course Post-Graduate Certificate in Back-End and Blockchain Development is the first and only technical blockchain certificate delivered by a Canadian university. This certificate will equip you with the tools to confidently launch your career. Create real-world blockchain solutions as you collaborate with peers and build upon your existing knowledge.

Program Format

Part-time Intensive

For the upcoming Fall and Winter terms, The Certificate in Blockchain Development will be delivered via online learning in an intensive format. You will be able to complete the full program entirely online over the course of three months, without interfering with your full-time work. Our convenient online program is designed to meet the needs of a wide range of students.

When public health permits, this program will be offered in both an online format and a blended format each year. In the blended format, each course entails online coursework as well as in-class sessions that take place over weekends.

Full-time

In Ontario, gatherings are restricted, and no university is offering classes in person for the foreseeable future. When the situation changes and it is once again safe to offer face-to-face instruction, full-time programs will make the transition back into the classroom.

Until then, this program will be offered in our “live online” format, which offers students the structure and group interaction of a face-to-face experience without travelling to York’s campus. Our live online classrooms enable students to hear and interact with the instructor and other students like in a normal classroom.
